Interior Design Program at Seminole State College

On Monday evening 11/15/10, S & W Kitchens hosted 18 students from Liz Hansen’s class from the Interior Design Program at Seminole State College.

The event was hosted at the Winter Park showroom (955 Orange Avenue).

We are proud to serve as a resource for the Interior Design Program at Seminole State College (formerly Seminole Community College). During the evening’s presentation, the students learned about magnetic induction cooking, the difference between porcelain and ceramic tiles and what a CAD presentation to a customer would look like among other things.

S & W Kitchens offers students the opportunity to view kitchens and baths in full scale in both of our state of the art showrooms, helping to make the textbooks come alive.

We also offer wood samples, granite or tile samples to the students for use on their presentation boards for the design competition they enter as part of their final grade.

If you are a student at SSC in the Interior Design Program we encourage you to stop by anytime and take advantage of our resources. We are happy to answer any and all questions regarding the industry.

For more information please call (407) 478-7683 or email Bill@sandwkitchens.com

We look forward to our next opportunity to “entertain and educate” the students in the near future.
