The Big Chill, the Temptations and Your Kitchen

The Big Chill. 1983. Seven friends get together for a reunion dinner after a funeral. Kevin Kline puts vinyl on the record player and The Temptations start singing Ain’t Too Proud to Beg. Dancing around in the kitchen, cleaning the dishes from the dinner they’ve just eaten together. Glenn Close and William Hurt and JoBeth Williams bumping and swinging to the music. Really goofy moves – could that really be called dancing? – from Jeff Goldblum.

Doesn’t it make you want to jump into the kitchen with them? Or maybe you could just invite some old friends into your own kitchen and put on some good music. Call in a pizza strike if you don’t want to cook!
