Feast your eyes on this stunning 1930’s Dutch colonial revival. The homeowners wanted to preserve the beautiful historic charm of their home while adding modern touches.
Tampa kitchen designer, Larissa Hicks, worked closely with her client on the design elements to ensure we were able to work within the confines of the older space while still creating a beautiful, functional, and energy efficient kitchen. Every detail in this luxurious Winter Park, Fl kitchen is thoughtfully designed with a timeless elegance including that stunning, made to order, exclusive La Cornue range.
This project was a collaboration with two of our wonderful partners, KDK Designs and Ricchi Homes. Our designer, Chris Druschel, worked closely with the team to provide the cabinets, layout and design.

Our client waited 15 years to remodel her kitchen and we were so thrilled to help her get the kitchen of her dreams! Although this family wanted to update their kitchen, they also wanted to keep the traditional style so it blended with the other living areas in this open concept Palm Harbor home. Our designer accomplished the goal with the perfect blend of traditional style combined with a few modern twists. Cooking and clean up are a breeze in this highly functional kitchen, with lots of practical features like the touch activated faucet featured above. Check out our video of all the features!

The goal? Create a modern look to go with the rest of our client's newly renovated home. Creating a layout that allowed for gatherings was a must because our client loves to entertain.
To accomplish this, we removed a large peninsula that was closing the space off. We also built a butler's pantry to give her more room to store supplies out of the main kitchen area.
The island has a pull out trash and utensil pull out with shallow cabinets on the back for additional storage. We also did lighting under the island overhang for additional mood lighting. The kitchen island is a hit! Our client tells us she has had so many get togethers and everyone loves to hangout around the island. Removing that peninsula made the kitchen so much more open to the dining and family room. and she is thrilled with the results!

The goal for this kitchen was to design a much more functional space that had lots of light. As with so many of our clients, they had grown out of their old, outdated kitchen and needed more storage and counter space.
The clients were so much fun and such a joy to work with. They had lots of inspiration pictures which gave our designer a great idea of the road they wanted to take.
They had lived there for many years and just could not figure out how to rearrange the kitchen to work for them. They said working with a professional like Chris really blew them away - the solutions he proposed simply never crossed their minds and they were THRILLED and fell in love with the kitchen design he came up with.
They were so happy with the end product, they have already signed up for more. Currently we are working with them on a possible addition and master bath renovation!!
