Growing up in south Florida, Rick started his career in carpentry with his father and a good friend, who eventually became his mentor. Years later he moved to central Florida with his middle school son. While raising his son he worked alongside his cousin building custom homes in Polk county. Rick has been the industry for over 35 years working in many areas of home building and remodeling. Before carpentry Rick had several years in automotive mechanics.
Working with the tools and materials from both industries has helped him in the ability to problem solve many of the unforeseen challenges that can occur with remodeling. His interior design experience comes from working with many custom home builders and interior designers throughout the Orlando area and south Florida.
The years of experience and his love for design, which began over 24 years ago in the custom closet and custom cabinet industry, have helped him be innovative in creating a balance between the client’s desires and their budget.
Rick enjoys kayaking, hiking and camping. Occasional you find him on a motorcycle ride. Rick is very involved with his church and has been on several mission trips in the states and overseas.
