Primary Bath with Dog Shower
Scope
Our client had a special request - remodel our bathroom and include a dog bath for Louie! The dog bath is located in the “original primary shower” location. The space previously had tiny shower and a large roman tub that was filled in long ago and looked like useless huge “stage”. The homeowners wanted a much larger shower and intended to utilize the former tub area for the new shower, but then we hade this little 3’x3’ alcove space where the original shower had been located. The dog bath became a function of utilizing all of the square footage in the bathroom. We added tile to the sloped ceiling to make it water proof from a wet dog shaking off water. And a handheld shower for ease of use in rinsing, etc. We are happy to report that Louie loves his bathtime and everyone's back feels a lot better, too!
