Before & After: 5 Dreamy Kitchen Makeovers in Neutral Color Palettes

See how our designers remodeled these kitchens using beautiful neutral color palettes to create fresh, beautiful, and functional spaces.

The designers of the following kitchen remodels utilized neutral color palettes with lots of texture, natural materials, and metallic accents to create fresh, functional spaces. Check out the before-and-after photos and get inspired for your upcoming kitchen renovation.

Gorgeous Kitchen with Gray Cabinetry

This homeowner came to us wanting to gift a new kitchen to his wife for Mother’s Day! What a special project. Their goal was to transform their living space to make it more welcoming, open, functional, and updated. We were able to remove several walls and ended up having an LVL beam installed to eliminate any type of support posts/columns. We also installed a large island with room for seating around the back and side. They asked for a neutral palette that would stand the test of time and be versatile in the years to come.

In this Seminole County, Fl kitchen remodel, designer Sarah Kraus Bartelson removed two walls separating the kitchen from the family room and dining room to open the space. She choose a lustrous gray cabinet color paired with a timeless subway tile in a beautiful, organic cream shade. The combination of these two colors offers lovely contrast and makes the room feel spacious, bright, and clean. The cabinets are finished with hardware and light fixtures in silver and a black faucet adds a subtle hint of drama. Our clients were thrilled!

A Kitchen with Spanish Charm

This couple came to us looking for help modernizing their outdated kitchen without compromising the beautiful traditional Spanish charm of their Tampa, FL house.

Designer Larissa Hicks transformed their dull, stained old kitchen into a bright, yet warm and inviting space full of delicate details like the arabesque backsplash, granite apron sink, custom stone hood, and top of the line appliances. They have separate cleaning, pet center, cooking, prep island, and a wine bar for plenty of family and entertaining activities.

Contemporary Beach Condo Kitchen

Our clients came to us wanting to open up their kitchen and remove an outdated, awkward wall that was needlessly separating the kitchen from the rest of the Brevard County, FL condo.

Brevard County Designer, Lindsey Schwartz removed the wall that was breaking up the room to open up the room and create a beautiful living space. It's all about the view in this coastal kitchen, and the white cabinets and countertops ensure that palm trees and sky take center stage.

Tampa designer, Rosemarie Szedula was up for the challenge! This beautiful kitchen was completely revamped adding a larger island with custom features like an undercounter microwave to maximize counter space and functionality. We also added cabinets and a coffee bar near the previously empty entryway to further increase storage space.

Another cool detail was removing the spindles on the railing and replacing them with wire to give it a nautical look that coordinates with the rest of the home’s décor.

Our client was thrilled with the final results!

Timeless White Kitchen with Warm Wood Island

When these homeowners came to us looking to modernize their Seminole County, FL kitchen, we were happy to help. As in many Florida homes, the space felt cramped with so many unnecessary walls breaking up the living space.

Designer Amy Downs opened the living space by removing walls and created a beautifully blended room that included a fireplace remodel. The kitchen is lovely and timeless with white cabinetry and a large warm wood island with seating and wine storage. We love the subtle shimmer in the backsplash that adds an unexpected touch of drama to the room.
